फिल्टर का उपयोग Image पर Effect लागू करने के लिए किया जाता है।
बादल जैसे Effect देने के लिए Render – Cloud फ़िल्टर का उपयोग किया जाता है।
Field Blur का उपयोग इमेज को ब्लर करने के लिए किया जाता है, ब्लर में कई प्रकार होते हैं, हम त्रिज्या सेट कर सकते हैं।
Average Blur का उपयोग किसी भी जगह का चयन करके किया जाता है, चयनित क्षेत्र में दिये गए औसत रंग ही धुंधला करने के लिए प्रयोग किया जाता है।
Motion Blur का उपयोग गतिमान प्रभाव जैसे चलती कारों को दिखाने के लिए किया जाता है।
कुछ महत्वपूर्ण फ़िल्टर
Noise – Add Noise: Noise एक छवि में अवांछित डॉट्स है। हम Noise फ़िल्टर का उपयोग करके Noise जोड़ सकते हैं।
Reduce Noise: हमारे पास Reduce Noise Filter भी है, जो अवांछित रंगीन Noise को दूर करने में मदद करता है।
Pixelate – Mosaic : इस फ़िल्टर का उपयोग छवि को Pixelated बनाने के लिए किया जाता है।
Crystallise: यह टाइलों की तरह कलात्मक प्रभाव उत्पन्न करने में मदद करता है।
Fiber : यह चयनित रंग के रेशे बनाता है।
Lens Flair: यह लेंस फ्लेयर उत्पन्न करता है जैसे कि कैमरा फ्लैश के साथ उत्पन्न होता है।
Lightening Effect: यह बिजली के Effects उत्पन्न करता है जैसे कि प्रकाश दूर से आ रहा है व्गैराह।
Sharpening : धुंधली छवि को ढूंधुलापन दूर करने के लिए।
Stylize – Diffuse: तस्वीरों पर स्टाइल करने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाता है
इसके अलावा और Styling Filters – Tiles, Wind इत्यादि।
Video Effects कम उपयोग के हैं।
Custom Filter भी कम उपयोग के हैं।
Watermark का उपयोग कॉपीराइट प्रकार के वॉटरमार्क देने के लिए किया जाता है।
Liquify का उपयोग कार्टून प्रकार के प्रभावों को जोड़ने के लिए किया जाता है। आप किसी स्थान को खींचने या किसी स्थान को फैलाने के लिए दिये गए tools का उपयोग कर सकते हैं जैसे Zoomout, Pressure आदि।
Vanishing Point व Image Paint: यह केवल 3D इमेज पर काम करता है।
अंतिम बार उपयोग किया गया फ़िल्टर हमेशा शीर्ष पर दिखाया जाता है। और Ctrl + F दबाकर भी इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है।

Filter Menu in Photoshop Filters are used to apply effects to the full image. Render Cloud filter is used to give cloud like effect. Field Blur is used to blur an Image, blur has so many types, we can set radius. Average blur is used by selecting any selection, the average colour is used in the selection is used as blurring. Motion blur is used to give motion effects like moving cars. Some Important Filters Noise – Add Noise: Noise is unwanted dots in an image. We can add noise using Noise Filter. Reduce Noise: We also have reduce noise filter, which helps in removing unwanted colored noise. Pixelate – Mosaic: This filter is used to make image pixelated. Crystallise: It helps to generate artistic effect like tiles. Fibers: It creates fibers of selected colour. Lens Flare: It generate lens flare as if generated with camera flash. Lightning Effects: It generates lightning effects as if light is coming from far away. Sharpening: To sharpen blurry image. Stylize – Diffuse: Used to stylize photos More styling filters – Tiles, Wind. Videos Effects are of lesser use. Custom filters are of lesser use. Watermarks are used to give copyright type watermarks. Liquify is used to add comify type effects. You can used tools to drag some spot or stretch some spot. There are many tools in liquify like zoomout, pressure etc. Vanishing Point, Image Paint: It works on 3D Images only. Last used filter is always shown at top. And can also be used by pressing Ctrl+F.
